Article 155. Extension and restoration of procedural time limits
Civil procedure code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 22.01.2018 · In force
The deadlines set by the court (judge) may be extended by the court (judge).
If a party to the proceedings misses a statutory deadline for valid reasons recognized as excusable by the court (judge), such deadline shall be restored.
A motion to restore a missed procedural time limit shall be filed with the court, in which the procedural action was to be performed or in which the document should have been submitted, and shall be considered in a court session with notification of the persons participating in the case. However, the non-appearance of these persons shall not be an obstacle for consideration of the application.
Simultaneously with submission of the motion on restoration of the procedural time limits, the action or the document in respect of which the time limit is missed shall respectively be made or submitted.
A ruling shall be made on extension or restoration of the missed procedural time limits, or dismissal of their extension.
A special complaint (protest) may be filed against the court's ruling on dismissal of extension or restoration of the missed procedural time limit.
