Article 152. Calculation of procedural time limits
Civil procedure code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 22.01.2018 · In force
The procedural time limits shall be calculated in years, months, and days. Running of the time period shall begin on the day following the calendar date or occurrence of the event that defines its beginning.
The time limits, calculated in years shall expire in the corresponding month and date of the last year of the time limit.
The time limits, calculated in months shall expire in the corresponding month and date of the last month of the time limit.
If the expiration of the time limit calculated in months falls on a month that has no corresponding date, then the time limit shall expire on the last day of that month. In cases where the last day of this time limit falls on a non-working day, the next first working day following it shall be considered as the day of expiration of the time limit.
The procedural action, for the performance of which the time limit is set may be performed by up to 24:00 on the last day of the time limit.
If a procedural action is to be executed in court, the time limit shall be considered to have expired in those hours when — according to the established rules — the work ends in court.
The deadline shall not be considered missed, if the application, complaint, documents, or sums have been submitted to the communication organization, sent electronically through an information system, or transferred to the relevant authority, or to the person authorized to accept them, up to 24:00 of the last day of the time limit.
